Club and Manager Reece Limbert deliver an update ahead of the new season

The club is providing supporters with an update on a number of things ahead of the new season.

PITCH RENOVATIONS
Both our pitches are going through some fairly extensive renovation ahead of the new season to improve drainage and create a better and more resilient playing surface. Work began a couple of weeks ago and will be completed before our pre-season friendly schedule.

PRE SEASON
Our pre-season friendlies commence on the 2nd of July and continue throughout July and we have some really exciting matches planned. We will release the pre-season schedule early June.

FIRST TEAM STAFF
To assist our existing first team staff we will be recruiting a couple of new heads and details of those positions will be advertised later this week.

TICKET PRICES
We can confirm that there will be no increase to this season's home league matches or season tickets and details of season tickets will be announced shortly.

Speaking about activities that are ongoing preseason and the season ahead, Manager Reece Limbert commented. "I’m delighted that the club and I have agreed to continue working together for the 24/25 season. I’ll be supported by my Assistant Manager Chris Galley and Goalkeeper coach Darren Jubb who will continue with their roles within the management team".

Although we are in the closed season, activities began as soon as the final whistle went following our final match of the season and a number of discussions have taken place regarding plans for improving the playing squad for the up and coming season as well as the planning for around 7 pre-season friendlies.

Given the 2023/24 season was not a season we either wanted or expected, the club is committed to delivering a competitive squad for the start of the new season and Limbert is positive in his outlook. "I’d like to thank our amazing supporters for sticking by us in what was a challenging first season back at Step 5. Work for 24/25 has already began and we are looking optimistically towards giving our supporters something to be proud of next season".

We will provide more information on further developments including details on the playing squad in the future weeks as the full outcome of retained and new players is confirmed.
