Saturday we travel the short distance to current runaway leaders, Sherwood Colliery, in the United Counties Premier Division North. In a spell where we will have faced the top three consecutively, we will face another tough challenge away.

Yellows went down 3-0 to Lincoln at the weekend and joint Manager Louis Bland had mixed feelings on the match. "My views on Saturday were I thought we played well for the first 20 minutes and provided a good contest. From minutes 20 to 45, we dropped our standards from that of previous weeks and that’s why they scored 2 goals. In the second half we made a couple of changes and I thought we were slightly better and maybe could have scored a goal to make it more competitive, but you can see why they are up there and going for promotion. They are the best side we have faced since becoming managers here".

Yellows, on Saturday, face "the" in form side who are, as yet ,unbeaten in the league and that's why Bland has respect for them. "Sherwood are undefeated so far, only drawing twice and their closest chance of losing was against my former side Sleaford, who were 2-0 up and wrongly put down to 10 men with 25 mins to play and they scored with the last kick of the game to equalise. So Sherwood are a really good side with excellent players and they will pose a real challenge to us on Saturday, one which my staff and players are really looking forward to"

The final word from the Manager was again related to our fan base."The fan’s support as always was tremendous last weekend and we will start repaying the fans back eventually with results. It’s been a horrible run playing the top three in a row and all away from home, but the performance against Melton and 30 or so minutes against Lincoln shows we can compete and we will need to be even better on Saturday to get anything from Sherwood".
