Yellows came away empty handed at the RM stadium after a really good first half where they went in to the break 1-0 up. In a bright first half, there were early chances for both Ashurst and Towle in what was an end to end period for both teams before Saad curled his shot in to the net on 33 minutes. Just two minutes later Smith-Eccles did well to avoid Eastwood getting an equaliser.

Five minutes in to the second half saw Eastwood secure their equaliser through Dunn and for a period Yellows struggled to get a foothold into the game as Eastwood applied the pressure. Wells came agonisingly close on on 75 minutes and a few minutes later Short did well to stop the visitors taking the lead, but six minutes from the end of normal time Eastwood got their eventual winner through Black to take all three points.
