Yellows with the cup match ahead in mind made significant changes to the starting 11 this afternoon. Kimberley got off to a fine start taking the lead after just 2 minutes and on 51 minutes they doubled their lead. Yellows struggled to have any sort of impact in front of goal and on 60 minutes the visitors got their third. Yellows stepped it up in the final 15 minutes and had a couple of penalty shouts, but in the end were unable to put the ball in the back of the net and Kimberley ran out worthy winners. We congratulate them on achieving what they set out to at 3 pm, that being maintaining their step 5 status and look forward to playing them again next season.

We turn our attention now to the Nottinghamshire FA Senior Cup on the 6th May at One Call Stadium.
