Hucknall Town Reserves made the trip over to Beeston to play Old Boys in this NSL 1 fixture.
The opposition have had a challenging season and struggled to find a regular starting lineup for various reasons.
However, Hucknall know from past experience that Old Boys always make things difficult for the opponents and knew the game ahead of them would be hard fought.

Yellows got off to a terrific start when Olly Peate put them ahead in the first 5mins of the match and the flood gates opened with Yellows grabbing another 4 goals before half time to go into the break leading 5-1.

In the second half Hucknall introduced all five subs, and it was really pleasing to see the contribution they made, the pick of the bunch being Dhiren Brandy who grabbed an assist and goal in a 25mins cameo. Further goals from Sam Price, Gio Andrews and Trev Lindo (his fourth) meant that Hucknall finished the game with a 9-2 scoreline.
